At Synsix, our journey began with a love for food, a passion for BBQ, and an unexpected problem that sparked a mission to help others. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for good food and the joy of sharing it with family and friends. My backyard became my playground for culinary creativity when I invested in a Weber BBQ and even built my own open-fire BBQ from scratch using stones and cement. Cooking on these grills became a daily ritual, crafting delicious meals that brought people together around the table.

But one day, that joy came to a screeching halt. A strange, unpleasant smell from my grill led to a shocking discovery—rodent nests and droppings had taken over. I realized these pests were drawn to the warmth and hidden spaces of BBQs, creating a highly unsanitary and unsafe cooking environment. Horrified, I immediately dove into a deep cleaning project, only to find how incredibly difficult, messy, and time-consuming the process was.

That experience was a wake-up call. I realized I wasn’t alone in this issue and that many others might unknowingly be cooking in unsanitary conditions. Driven by my passion for BBQ and my commitment to helping others, I began researching and mastering the art of grill cleaning and maintenance. I learned how to keep my BBQs in pristine condition, ensuring a safe and enjoyable cooking experience for my loved ones.

It was then that the idea for Synsix was born. I decided to start a cleaning and maintenance company built on the values of helping others, integrity, and quality. Initially, our services included BBQ maintenance, lawn care, house cleaning, and auto detailing. However, it wasn’t long before we realized that our passion and expertise truly shone in the world of BBQ maintenance.

Today, Synsix is proud to be one of Canada’s leaders in BBQ cleaning and maintenance. We’ve dedicated ourselves to raising awareness about the importance of clean, safe cooking environments while continuing to refine our techniques and expand our knowledge.
